Power Source Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 25, 2026 · Last updated: September 25, 2026
1. Who we are
Power Source is a weekly reflection and planning app offered by Flower Power Health LLC ("Flower Power Health," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Power Source (the "App"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Questions? Contact us at elizabeth@flowerpower.health.
2. The short version
- We collect what you choose to enter: a few weekly numbers, your reflections, your plans, and your priorities.
- We use it to run the App, show your trends, and write your weekly summary.
- Your weekly summary is written by an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) acting as our service provider. We don't send your name or email address with your entries, and your data isn't used to train AI models.
- We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
- Your coach can see your field notes only if you turn on sharing, and you can turn it off at any time.
- You can see, correct, and delete your information, and delete your account at any time.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Account information: your email address (used for sign-in links) and, if you choose, a display name.
- Setup information: which devices and apps you use (for example, a running watch or sleep ring) and which version, which source you trust for each measure, your preferred units, whether you track running, other activities you want to track and how you measure them, and your time zone.
- Weekly field notes: numbers you type in, such as weekly training time, running distance, average time asleep, and average resting heart rate, along with the name of the device or app they came from or a note that they are your own estimate; your answers to questions about sleep, mood, motivation, energy, goals, and confidence; and your written reflections, plans, priority, and reasons.
- Daily check-ins: short written notes about your day.
- Settings and choices: whether you share with your coach, whether you want reminders, and when you agreed to AI-written summaries.
3.2 Information we create
- Weekly summaries written by AI from your field notes (see Section 6).
- Calculated values and trends, such as weekly totals and charts built from the numbers you enter.
3.3 Information collected automatically
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, and error logs. We use this to keep the App secure and working.
- Essential cookies: small files that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3.4 What we don't collect
Power Source does not connect to your devices or fitness accounts, and it does not read data from them. We do not ask for lab results, medical records, diagnoses, precise location, or government ID numbers. Please don't enter them in free-text fields. Payments are not collected in the App at this time.
4. Consumer health data
Some information you enter, such as sleep, resting heart rate, activity, mood, and energy, may be considered "consumer health data" or "health data" under state laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada, Connecticut, and other states. We treat all information you enter in your field notes and daily check-ins as consumer health data, whether or not a particular law applies. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (Appendix A) gives the details those laws require.
5. How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Provide the App: save your setup, field notes, and daily check-ins, and show them back to you.
- Calculate totals and show your trends over time.
- Write your weekly summary (Section 6).
- Send sign-in links and, if you choose, a Sunday reminder email.
- Share your field notes with your coach, only if you turn sharing on (Section 7).
- Keep the App secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.
- Comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, build advertising profiles, use it to train AI models, or use it to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. AI-written weekly summaries
When you close out a week, the App sends that week's field notes, and the numbers and sources from up to four earlier weeks, to Anthropic's Claude API. Claude writes a short response: a summary, your priority and reason in your own words, and practical reminders. We do not send your name, email address, or account ID with this request.
Anthropic processes this information as our service provider. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, it does not use data sent through its API to train its models without permission, and it deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days by default, subject to limited exceptions such as legal requirements or misuse investigations. We store the summary with your field notes so you can see it later.
AI summaries can be incomplete or wrong. They are for reflection and coaching only. They are not medical advice, and no person reviews them before you see them. You must agree to AI-written summaries before your first one is created.
7. Sharing with your coach (optional)
Sharing with your coach is off by default. If you turn it on, your coach at Flower Power Health can view your setup, weekly field notes and summaries, and daily check-ins in a read-only view. Your coach cannot change your entries.
You can turn sharing off at any time in Settings. Your coach loses access right away.
8. Service providers
We use a small number of companies to run the App. They process your information only on our instructions and only to provide their services to us.
| Provider | What they do for us | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel, Inc. | Hosts the App and runs its server code | All App traffic and technical information |
| Supabase, Inc. | Database and sign-in | Account, setup, field notes, check-ins, summaries, settings |
| Anthropic, PBC | Writes weekly summaries (Claude API) | The week's field notes and recent weekly numbers (no name or email) |
| Resend | Sends sign-in links and reminder emails | Email address and email content |
Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
9. Other disclosures
We share information outside the App only:
- With your consent or at your direction, such as coach sharing.
- If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy and applicable law. Should this occur, you will be given notice and the opportunity to delete your data prior to any sharing.
We do not sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access your information and learn which third parties and processors have received it.
- Correct it. You can edit your setup and entries directly in the App.
- Delete it. You can delete your account in Settings, which deletes your information as described in Section 11.
- Get a copy of it.
- Withdraw consent, including turning off coach sharing, reminders, or AI summaries.
- Appeal if we decline your request.
To make a request, use the App's Settings or email elizabeth@flowerpower.health. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days, as required by law. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
11. How long we keep information
- We keep your information while your account is active.
- If you delete your account, we delete your information from our active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, unless we must keep something to comply with the law.
- Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days.
- Anthropic deletes summary requests and responses as described in Section 6.
12. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, database rules that let each person see only their own information, access limited to the people who need it, and multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law, including the FTC's Health Breach Notification Rule where it applies.
13. Children
Power Source is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this Policy
We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the App before it takes effect, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
